Duck's baked model was made by Zeldaboy14 (which was originally a mesh made by Richard Jordan), Bill and Ben's models were made by Workshop Engines, Donald, Douglas, Diesel, Splatter, Dodge, Skarloey, Rheneas, Rusty, and Duke were made by No1ThomasFan and Mavis was made by BenStack on the Sudrian Community (for those wondering, this Mavis model is long gone from the site, but shockingly is still available via this link thanks to the web archive).Īlthough Trainz Simulator 2019 is better in terms of quality and producing for fan videos, it just doesn't quite have the sentimentality and enjoyment that the older Trainz games have.
Some of the models shown weren't created by Si3D, though.
Not only that, I was able to find some other newer models created in the style of Sodor Island 3D's original 2006/2009 styles, but for this picture, I wanted to showcase all the baked models' appearances, which I think are pretty well-crafted for what they are. Thanks to the Negotiator's SI3D Archive folder, I was able to download several of Sodor Island 3D's original Trainz assets for TS2009. it's aged pretty well despite being somewhat outdated!Īnd of course, I couldn't really use it without using any content involving the little blue bugger and all his pals. Yeah, it seems that Trainz Simulator 2006/2009 is trending, and having installed Trainz Simulator 2009 on my computer.
